Thumka was an Indian-fusion street food kitchen based at Little Faith Taproom in South London, serving bold, vibrant food alongside the taproom’s beers. With a menu that leaned heavily into crowd-pleasing small plates and comfort food (and a strong plant-based offer), it had the feel of a proper neighbourhood kitchen – informal, generous, and built around the energy of the space and its creator, George.
For the branding, I created a bright, characterful identity designed to feel handmade and welcoming. The system centred on a handwritten logo and a set of graphic motifs inspired by food and organic shapes, using confident colour to bring warmth and personality across menus and materials. The overall look was playful but intentional, tying in with Thumka’s collaborative, community-first ethos.
